This custom stone home features unique stone and wood details reminiscent of a home you might find nestled in the mountains out West. The landscape design harmonizes with the home's architecture, incorporating natural outcropping stone, river rock swales, and a mix of naturalized plantings. To address the absence of gutters, underground drainage and river rock were seamlessly integrated along the front of the house and into the meandering swales. The outdoor living space and pool are complemented by naturalized plantings that soften the contemporary lines of the hardscapes and furnishings. A natural stone outcropping wall blends with existing ledgestone, creating a more level rear yard. Ornamental grasses and perennials provide a softening effect against boulders and outcropping stone.
